The Lord Carries our Burdens
In these Psalms, David cries out to God, casting his burdens onto Him. With his enemies surrounding him, David focuses on God despite the fear he feels. God delivers him from his enemies.
Paul preaches the resurrection, causing a disagreement among the Sadducees and the Pharisees. The council plots to kill Paul, fearful that many people would believe what he was preaching. The Roman tribune saves Paul by sending him to Caesarea overnight.
David and Paul both chose to have faith in God, despite their circumstances. Does your faith waver depending on your situation?
