Overcoming Evil with Good
The psalmist laments evil, enemies, and that people are turning from God. The reader is reminded of God’s history of destroying evil and caring for His people.
“You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.” - Psalm 73:24-25
As Paul journeys to Rome, he witnesses on Malta after being shipwrecked. God protects Paul from a viper’s bite and Paul performs acts of healing.
