Jesus is the Ideal Human

Overview: Psalm 7-9, Acts 14

David asks for God’s vindication and justice for evil done to him, praising God for His strength and power. Psalm 8 is later quoted by Hebrews to show how Jesus is the ideal human, crowned with glory after suffering. 

In Acts, the crowds listening to Barnabas and Paul attempt to worship them for the signs they perform. Paul and Barnabas point the people back to God. Despite facing rejection and opposition, the two missionaries continued their witness.
