Overview: 2 Chronicles 21-22, John 13:1-20
After Jehoshaphat, the kingdom of Judah passes to his son Jehoram, who disobeys God. Jehoram is followed by Ahaziah, who is also evil and only reigns for one year. Both kings are focused on themselves, instead of the Lord’s work in their generation.
During the Last Supper, Jesus washes His disciples’ feet. It was unheard of for a teacher to humble Himself and serve His followers in this way. Jesus did this as a demonstration of what it meant to love and serve others. How can we serve those we meet today?
