The Sovereignty of God
The book of Esther tells the story of a young Jewish girl who becomes queen where the people of God are in exile. Enemies of the Jews devise a plot to kill them.
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descends upon the disciples. The Spirit gives them the ability to speak in other languages so that everyone who heard them could understand what was being preached.
God controls circumstances to fulfill His purposes, even though they can appear hopeless. Have you recognized His work in a hopeless situation in your life?
