The Prayer of Faith

Overview: Ezekiel 31-32, James 5

Ezekiel concludes this section of prophecies against the nations to show that the Lord rules over all people. His oracle against Egpyt sentences Pharoah to destruction for using military power to turn the Lord’s people away from Him. 

James warns the rich against using their power to rob and oppress the poor. He concludes by restating some of the letter’s key themes, using the power of the tongue for good by praying for one another. He closes his letter with practical ways we can help fellow believers through our faith, prayer, confession, and sacrifice.
