Humbly Fearing Our Great God

Overview: Psalms 112-114, Romans 10

Psalms 112-114 highlight the blessing that comes to those who fear God. God exalts those who humble themselves and has the power to save, even as He rescued His people from slavery in Egypt.

Paul described the spiritual state of most Jews of his day. Their passion for God was misdirected because it did not focus on Jesus, their Messiah, and Savior.

Today’s Scripture passages stress how God’s values differ from the world’s values. What role does humility play in unleashing God’s power in your life?
