His Steadfast Love Endures Forever
Psalm 115 praises the Lord for His love and faithfulness, and Psalm 118 praises the Lord for his “steadfast love." Steadfast means unwavering, so we can be thankful God’s love doesn’t change. Psalm 118 concludes the Egyptian Hallel, which Jesus and His disciples would have sung at Passover as the last hymn before His arrest (Matthew 26:30).
In Romans, Paul explains God’s righteousness in His plan for Jews and Gentiles. Despite Israel’s rejection of God’s promises throughout history, His steadfast love endures forever.
