His Steadfast Love Endures Forever
Overview: Psalm 136-138, Romans 16
These Psalms are songs of praise to the Lord our God. Here, the Psalmist praises God for his steadfast love faithfulness, echoing Exodus 34:6. Even when remembering painful moments in their history like the Babylonian exile, God’s people can offer thanks to Him for His care.
"I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart." - Psalm 138:1
In Romans 16, Paul gives his final greetings to several people in the Roman churches. He warns about those who will try to divide the church with false teaching. Finally, he concludes with a doxology that restates the main themes introduced in Romans 1. The glory of God is revealed through Jesus Christ.
