The Majesty of God

Overview: Psalms 97-99, Romans 6

In these Psalms, God is praised because of His power and authority over all creation. He reigns over all the universe, and the appropriate response is worship. Every part of creation offers a form of praise to God. If you are feeling overwhelmed, let Psalm 97 encourage you. 

“He preserves the lives of His saints; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” - Psalm 97:10

Paul argues that God’s grace triumphs over the power of sin and death. He uses a metaphor to show that submitting to sin leads to slavery and death while submitting to righteousness leads to eternal life.
