By Grace Through Faith

Overview: Isaiah 45-46, Ephesians 2

In Isaiah, God is providing comfort to His exiles about the revelation of His glory and restoration of Jerusalem. Isaiah prophesies that Cyrus the Great of Persia will be the one through whom the Lord will restore Jerusalem (Ezra 1:1-5). Through this, the Lord will sustain His people and show that He alone is the one true God. 

Paul teaches that we have been saved by grace through faith and that this salvation is a gift of God that cannot be earned with good works. Believers can have hope in Christ because of God’s grace and salvation. All people, Jews and Gentiles alike, can live in unity and peace with God and each other because of Christ Jesus and His redemption.
