Building the Person
- Develop and grow in skills and integrity through learning opportunities within an everyday relationship with Jesus and the Communications Team. (Psalm 78:72)
- Provide space in the office for real-life ministry experience and the opportunity to experience different leadership styles and perspectives.
- Attend weekly 1:1 with the Digital Communications Director.
- Hands-on experience in digital communications strategy and execution.
- Participate actively on the communications team through team meetings, prayer times, etc.
- Help build and continue pioneering the future of digital communications at NewSpring Church.
Building the Kingdom
- Collaborate with the Digital Communications Director on internal and external campaign/project planning to activate the target audience into moving down the NewSpring Discipleship Pathway.
- Participate in brainstorming, planning, and strategy meetings with the Communications Team.
- Support digital content creation for NewSpring YouTube, podcast, emails, social media, app and website.
- Help monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics.
- Research digital trends, audience engagement, and industry benchmarks to help the Communications team reach Everyone, Everywhere, Everyday.
- Assist with updating website and app content (e.g., events, sermon notes, podcast, app).
- From time to time, assist with creating and scheduling content for NewSpring’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube, etc.).
Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
