Discipleship Groups Internship

Overview

The NewSpring Groups Intern will play a key role in supporting the mission of discipleship at NewSpring by helping cultivate a healthy culture of groups across all campuses. This role provides hands-on ministry experience in content and curriculum development, leader training, and cross-campus collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping and promoting the culture of groups across all NewSpring campuses.
  • Help research, write, and develop content and curriculum for groups to use in weekly gatherings.
  • Create training resources and materials for both staff and group leaders.
  • Partner with support ministry teams to support group leader development and discipleship efforts at campuses.
  • Travel occasionally to other campuses to help with trainings, events, or on-site support.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creative process of improving group ministry.

  • A growing, everyday relationship with Jesus and a heart for discipleship
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking with the ability to organize and simplify content
  • Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and take initiative
  • Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
  • Availability to travel as needed

Time Commitment

  • Part-time internship (hours to be determined)
  • Some evenings/weekends may be required for trainings or events
