Role Expectations:
Learning
- Attend Sunday morning huddles with the Columbia Campus staff.
- Complete internship assignments.
- Attend Monday and/or Thursday Fuse Director meetings unless college classes don’t allow for it.
- Meet with the Columbia Campus Pastor monthly.
Leadership
- Lead the load-in team.
- Develop the Fuse setup plan for each Wednesday.
- Communicate with Fuse Support Team leaders. Help the Fuse Support Area Leader identify, delegate, and develop volunteers/students to help with execution.
- Ensure the load-in team is equipped going into Wednesday morning.
- Identify and develop leaders to serve and lead this team moving into fall 2025.
- Host Fuse gatherings once a month.
- Lead Fuse huddles once a month.
- Assist the Fuse Outreach Area Leader with the following:
- Creating strategies for student outreach in our city,
- Brainstorming outreach initiatives at schools, such as participating in FCAs, etc.,
- Brainstorming Columbia Summer of Fun (May-July) activities and outreach opportunities with the Fuse Events leader.
- Tracking volunteer outreach engagement.
- Assist the Fuse Director by leading male high school Fuse Group Leaders.
- Work with the Fuse Director to develop these leaders and meet with them consistently.
- Join the Fuse Director in next step conversations with potential volunteers to learn to use discernment in real-time conversations and decide if serving in Fuse is someone’s best next step.
Logistics
Follow up with first-time Fuse students before the end of the day on Sunday. This includes:
- mailing postcards
- sending texts
