Fuse Worship Internship
Greenville, SC
Lead the worship team for Fuse gatherings, upholding integrity of heart and skillful hands.
Help recruit and develop worship leaders and musicians to play at Fuse.
Schedule bands and transfer setlists from Global to the local Planning Center page for each week of Fuse.
Communicate details, vision for songs, and worship moments to bands leading up to rehearsal/gatherings.
Prepare for hard start by downloading the Ableton session and changing keys.
Work with the service producer and be responsible to communicate details to the band.
Connect less experienced band members with more experienced band members to help them develop in their skill set. (One space for this is a development night.)
Walk through the on-boarding process with new band members alongside the Campus Worship Leader.
Lead and/or facilitate shepherding of the band through rhythmic 1:1’s. Text/Call/FT throughout the week, but schedule at least one in person 1:1 per month.
The Fuse Worship intern does not need to be the primary 1:1 shepherd for every team member. They should meet and shepherd a few, then make sure the rest are in a group or have a shepherd. Other than that, they can shepherd the team by making the most of the time on Wednesday to disciple and invest in them intentionally!
Have a biweekly 1:1 with Campus Worship Leader for their own spiritual and skillful hands development.
Attend any necessary Fuse or Worship Arts meetings to receive or convey vision, information, and evaluation.
Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
