KidSpring Internship

Execute and uphold KidSpring’s mission and pillars as defined by the KidSpring Game Plan.

Give and receive feedback concerning KidSpring’s missions and pillars each week.

Represent KidSpring at the Northeast Columbia campus by:

• Being visible in KidSpring on Sundays, speaking to parents, and connecting with kids
• Seeking opportunities to provide extra care for kids and families (ex: sending postcards, connecting with first-time families, and helping to plan and execute KidSpring special events)

Prepare for Sundays in KidSpring by:

• Assisting with volunteer scheduling for Sundays
• Knowing and recruiting for specific roles that exist inside each area of KidSpring
• Preparing KidSpring environments and materials for small groups

Recruiting New KidSpring Volunteers by:

• Engaging with church members and encourage them to apply to serve in KidSpring
• Contacting potential volunteers and walking through the new serve process with the volunteer leader
• Assisting with revamping our New Serve experience
• Helping conduct Next Step Conversations to discern if serving in KidSpring is someone’s next step

Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
