Baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of someone’s decision to follow Jesus, and it is beautiful! Hear about Myka’s decision to be baptized in her own words: 

“I accepted Jesus into my life when I was 5 years old, and life with Jesus has been filled with so much joy, peace, and light! My great grandmother is the one who introduced me to Christ and prayed with me to receive salvation. My family invited me to taste and see God’s goodness and I will never turn back. Now, I want to be baptized to show everyone my love for Jesus. This is a big and bold step for me. I felt like because I was on staff at NewSpring, it was too late for me. What would people think? But Jesus has extended grace and called me into what walking in obedience with him looks like. I am so excited to take this next step and I pray it stirs your faith as you celebrate with me!”
