Good Friday and Easter at NewSpring
The crucifixion was a dark moment for Jesus’ disciples. But 2,000 years later, we commemorate Jesus’ death on Good Friday. We call it "good" because we know what Jesus was accomplishing on the cross. His death led to our freedom! This is a family gathering, so kids will join us as we reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross! Bring your friends and family and join us for a Good Friday gathering at 12pm on April 18. Then, on Sunday, April 20, at 9:15am, 11:15am, and 5 pm, we’ll gather together to celebrate the new life we have in Jesus! Jesus suffered, died, and rose again — and the gospel of Mark invites us all to answer the question, “Who is Jesus?” Easter is a great time to invite others to a gathering, so bring your friends and neighbors as we celebrate that the good news really is for everyone everywhere.
