Monday Prayer Gatherings
Read John Morrison’s story on why he attends our weekly prayer gatherings: "I can recall about a year ago when 21 days of prayer was happening. At the time, I worked a job where I had to be there at 4:30am, meaning I could never come to prayer at 6am. One day, during 21 days, I was off and got the chance to come to pray with my wife and daughter. I then prayed that if the Lord blessed me with a 9 to 5 job, I would come to prayer. Fast forward to when Northeast Columbia had prayer gatherings on Fridays; I had my new job and new schedule and was able to come almost every week! My main reason for coming to prayer gatherings is to pray for my wife, son, and daughter. I find a sense of peace when I’m at church for prayer. I get to join my brothers and sisters in Christ as we cry out to the Lord for our world, country, local community, families, our church, and the unsaved. It’s an opportunity for the Lord to pour hope, peace, love, guidance, and joy into me after the issues of life drain me of these things. I find the Lord meets us where we are and how we are! Much love, Fam. See you Mondays, come getcha prayer on!"
