"I lost my vision in high school. Leaning on God’s grace and the faith I was raised in, I learned to adapt. I spent 12 years in Colorado, attending a school for the blind and then college. When I moved back to Columbia a year ago, I was searching for God, longing to hear His voice, and desperate for community. The people of NewSpring have given me confidence that this is where I am meant to be. They accept me and welcome my desire to participate in serving, figuring out ways to make it accessible and life-giving." - Emily Zimmerman
