One Fuse family. Lots of ways to serve.

Fuse couldn’t happen every week without support volunteers and Fuse Group leaders.

Support volunteers create the environments that make Fuse the best night of a student’s week. They serve in all sorts of ways from parking, greeting, and check-in to setting up games and keeping students safe.

For a Fuse Group leader, Wednesday is where relationships begin. Fuse Group leaders are disciple makers. They spend time with students, helping them understand the Bible and follow Jesus in everyday life.

Ready to join the Fuse family?

Your first stop is First Look. During First Look, you’ll tour Fuse to see what it’s all about and where you might want to serve.

After First Look, you’ll have a Next Steps Conversation. We’ll ask you about your relationship with Jesus, your passions, and answer any questions you may have.

Finally, we’ll connect you with an experienced Fuse volunteer for your First Serve. Think of it like on-the-job training. You’ll experience how it feels to serve, but you’ll have a friendly face guiding you every step of the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be there every week? What is the time commitment?

The time commitment varies based on serving role and campus. “How much time will I need to be able to commit to this?” is a great question to ask during First Look.

How are volunteers screened and trained?

All Fuse volunteers must complete a background check before serving. We’ll also ask for references who can speak to your character and relationship with Jesus.

Do I need to attend NewSpring to serve at Fuse?

Yes. Because we are the student ministry of NewSpring Church, you’ll need to be part of NewSpring to serve at Fuse.
