Drink from the Living Water

Read John 4:15-30

Now, spend some time reflecting on what you read and what stood out to you.

• Re-read verse 24. What does it mean for us to worship God in Spirit and truth?
• In verse 29, the Samaritan woman “goes and tells” the world about what Jesus did for her. How often do you tell people what Jesus did for you? What bold steps can you take today to do that?
• Unlike normal drinking water, Jesus calls Himself the Living Water. He tells us that if we drink from water other than Him, we won’t be satisfied. Figuratively speaking, where do you drink from water that isn’t Jesus? Is He right that those things won’t satisfy you?

Finally, spend some time responding to Jesus in prayer. What do you want to thank Him for? What do you want to ask Him for? What do you need to confess to Him?
