From The Life of Jesus: 50 Days in the Book of John

Read John 14:1-14

Now, spend some time reflecting on what you read and what stood out to you.

  • Jesus prophesies in verses 1-3. What do you feel when you think about the fact that God is preparing a place for us to be with Him? What does that change about TODAY for you and how you live it?

  • In verse 12, Jesus says we will do greater works than Him if we believe in Him. What?! Have you seen God do great works in your life? Where can you take a step of faith by believing God for miracles in your world?

  • In this section, Jesus calls Himself the Way, the Truth, and the Life. What do you think it means that Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life?

Finally, spend some time responding to Jesus in prayer. What do you want to thank Him for? What do you want to ask Him for? What do you need to confess to Him?
