Love one another

From The Life of Jesus: 50 Days in the Book of John

Read John 13:21-38

Now, spend some time reflecting on what you read and what stood out to you.

  • Jesus tells Peter he will deny Him three times before His death yet Jesus still loves him. Do you feel like there was a time you denied Jesus? What does it tell you about God’s love that He would forgive Peter?

  • Do you fully believe God forgives you? Where are some areas in your life that are harder to believe you’re fully forgiven?

  • Jesus commands us in verse 34 to love one another. Read verse 35 again. What does that mean for you and how you treat other people?

Finally, spend some time responding to Jesus in prayer. What do you want to thank Him for? What do you want to ask Him for? What do you need to confess to Him?
